New refferal bonus?

I do like your refferal bonus. However, any chance of making it a percentage when your refferals bring more refferals? Like maybe 10% of secondary refferals? Just a thought.

We're considered it, but there are a few things preventing us right now:
- Our current system is rather unique, and I feel it sets us apart
- Our current system is focused on rewarding people who bring us a lot of users who become active - which is profitable for us
- Percentage referral bonuses have an unfortunate "black eye" in the industry.  For example, I believe we would be more likely to run into trouble with PayPal if we offered a percentage referral bonus.

In thinking about it, we may be able to increase the cashout bonus to $4-5... would that help?  Let me run some numbers...

Perhaps a bonus every time you reach a certain amount of referrals. Ex: $5 bonus for reaching 50 referrals.

The problem I see with that is that we already have enough problems with people falsifying referrals as it is, and also, it is rewarding the wrong thing from our perspective.  We would rather have someone refer 5 users who actively use the site than 50 who don't, so we would like our bonus system to reflect that.

Yeah, that's true. I suppose a percentage bonus or a cashout bonus is the best way to do that then.

Good news!  We ran the numbers and it turns out we haven't been paying you guys enough for referring people that cashout.

Effective immediately, the cashout bonus is $5, raised from $2.  So here's how it breaks down:

    * Refer a friend who confirms his/her email address: $1 bonus
    * Your friend completes his/her first offer: $2 bonus
    * Your friend cashes out: $5 bonus

The $5 cashout bonus is REPEATING - you get it each and every time your referral cashes out.

I STILL haven't gotten my bonus for my referral completing his first offer.  He is a friend of mine and has completed more than one offer but I never got my $2 bonus!
