I have been using it for years, I had no idea they had added restaurants. We eat out a lot, I'm going to have to check into that.

I have heard of Ebates and I've heard of Rakuten as well.  I didn't know that the first changed to the second.  Maybe that explains why I have not seen those Ebates commercials on TV for a long time. 

There has been more talk about Rakuten of late.  I thought about trying Ebates but now I may give Rakuten a closer look.

I ordered some kitchen curtains today online from Walmart.  I activated the 5%rebate through Rakuten.  I will also get 3%more since I used my Rakuten credit card.  Pretty sweet deal.

I used it from time to time when purchasing Electronic items but over all I hardly use the website now though.

Thanks for the info and heads-up you shared.  I don't do a lot of shopping so I never saw the benefit for me to use ebates but have always been curious.
