how does this monthly $3 for posting work??

You need to submit three that show your style and yes they need to have social redeeming value. Help someone, make someone laugh, give support, not just Oh Yeah!

I have just started doing this today but look at it this way. You et to give your opinion, chit chat with people and get paid for it. Can't go wrong with that.

They do not count posts like "I agree" or "Whatever." They count posts that actually contain a message. They do not necessarily have to be helpful, but they do have to be contributory. The official rules state:

"A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines.  It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content.  Basically, if you post just to meet the 30 post requirement, you wont qualify."
