So when do people take down trees and decorations and stop listening to Christmas music?

I no longer listen to Christmas music... But, I am currently watching Home Alone (a timeless Christmas movie, sort of) right now -- in the background while I work.

The Christmas Tree comes down after the Epiphany -- so it will be dismantled not this week-end, but the next.

I’m keeping my tree up extra long this year because my fiancé is in Germany he should be in the next week or two hopefully but with the United States being on high alert now I hope that doesn’t cause him to have to stay there his gifts are still under the tree ready for him to open them once he finally gets here

Taking down my trees and other decorations this Sunday.  Having a late Christmas this Saturday because some of the kids live out of town and are coming this weekend.

I quit playing Christmas music on the 26th.  I have been slowly dismantling my tree.  So many ornaments that I have been collecting the past 40 years.  I still have most of the original boxes so it takes a while to get them all back in the proper box.
Have a wonderful day!

So when do people take down trees and decorations and stop listening to Christmas music?

I take my decorations down the day after Christmas. Could listen to Christmas music at any time during the year. Not sure why it offends people what type of music "I" listen to.

I started on New Year's Day taking down decorations and dismantled the tree on January 2nd. It seems like there is always one decoration I miss, so that stays up all year.

Why is the United States on HIGH ALERT?  Have not seen anything about this.

Well, I didn't put up ANY Christmas decorations this year.  I live alone and just wasn't into getting them out and then putting them all away.  Generally, I put decorations up the first week of December and take them down the first or second week in January depending on how I'm feeling.  As far as Christmas music is concerned, I only listen to it while I am decorating, am out in the stores shopping, or am in the car heading out to Christmas shop!
