How are handling the stress of being at home?
« on: April 29, 2020, 09:11:50 pm »
It can be very stressful staying at home so I am trying to find things to keep my self busy or distracted from the fact that this virus is going to be around for a while. What do you do to deal with this stress.

I don't think it is stressful being at home. I do how ever think is is stressful to go out in to town. Not because I am afraid of catching this "virus" but because people are completely stupid. I don't know how it is any where else but we got a lot of ignorant people playing hall monitor and starting stuff with other customers. smh

I am working from home, so I am less stressful but need to go shopping for some stress relief.

This topic really resonates for me and I look forward to hearing about the advice from others. I really struggle feeling stressed especially in the morning when I needed to help my son as he tries to do long distance learning.

I've been able to handle the stress by listening to music and watching TV over this quarantine period. I've discovered a lot of new shows and music I probably wouldn't have found otherwise!

I've stayed busy and tried not to dwell on things. There's always something to do when you're a homeowner.

Hi

It is not stressful at all being home. What is stressful is the situation that we are in. Nonetheless this too shall pass.

Turn off the TV, with all that's going on right now, it can be very stressful to just sit and look at TV all day, I listen to music and do things around the house and take long walks.

At times like this you need to find something to do around your house or find something constructive to do.  The stress can be a downer.

I know just how you feel.  I'm fine at home but the thought of going out is causing more anxiety now than ever before.

My stress begins on the road where drivers have become more aggressive than ever.  I can't tell you how many times we've been cut off by senselessness.

I'd much rather stay home and am doing so as much as I can.
