I am not in favor in states re-opening so quickly. The state I currently reside in (Georgia) was one of the first to start re-opening. Governor Kemp quickly annoyed me with that silly decision, especially when the CDC and other public health officials (such as Dr. Anthony Fauci) predicted that the pandemic is likely to claim several more lives in the coming months. The government is more concerned with the economy than with the health of its citizens. Hmm, go figure...Thankfully, my job essentially disregarded the state of Georgia and mandated that all of us will continue to telework and prohibited us from entering several establishments.

Thank you for a responsible answer vg7405. I too, think we have opened MT too soon, but it is what it is. What worries me is all the out-of-staters flocking here because we have so few cases!

In MA, don't think it's open yet, at least not my firm nor my son's school

Well, tuffys_daughtr, saying the following as you did: "I can't stand anything about him: whiny voice, ugly face, his inability to handle criticism, or anything else for that matter" is at least a reason to not like him personally; even though it sounds just like a high school mean girl's opinion of a guy who didn't want to date her because she has an ugly face, has a whiny voice and he just can't stand anything about her. That is; juvenile.  ::)

It's not a good reason to disrespect the leader of your country unless you're in grade school and bragging to your friends. I hope you never find out what will happen to you if you vote yourself in a guy who's cute and has a nice voice and that you like 'just because'. Chances are you might sing a different tune. :sad1:

I don't mean to 'bust your chops' but I wish you had valid reasons for wanting a great president out of office; not because you don't 'like' his appearance and demeanor.  :-[

Oh thanks for your "kool-aid drinking" input Linderlizzie. I have so many more reasons for wanting him out. Those listed were just the tip of the iceberg. I just don't have time to list them all.

I still believe that everything re-opened too soon, and we could fight the COVID19 if we stayed at home a little bit longer. Our company was among the first ones who started working from home when all this situation occurred. Working from home didn’t affect our productivity at all, and we even managed to reach our sales target. But then we had to come back to the office, and straight after that, a few people got corona. In the finance department, only one person is working instead of seven. Almost in every department, at least one person is sick, and it’s hard to work with fewer people left. I recently read on https://www.netfloorusa.com/blog/how-covid-19-affects-office-spaces these suggestions about organizing office space. I suggested that we can apply some ideas in our office to prevent spreading the COVID19 and operate normally.

If they open part of the state you know that people will travel to those parts.  I will stay at home and try to keep others safe while I am trying to keep myself safe

Are you infected?  Unless you have this virus you are not keeping people safe by staying home. You can do what ever you want to and that is fine. But I am so sick of hearing how "I" need to wear a mask to keep others safe. "I" am NOT sick so me wearing a mask is not going to keep you safe. YOU wear a mask to keep you safe.  I agree with linderlizzie this crapola has got to stop.

Actually, you are keeping people safe by staying home because you are reducing the risk of catching the virus and spreading it to people. I understand having to go our for necessities or to be physically distanced and masked and seeing friends hopefully outdoors, but to go outside *bleep* nilly and say it doesn't matter for you to wear a mask is just wrong. the masks protect others. don't be selfish.

Now that Biden administration is in power, they are now rushing to re-open the states...how ironic
