LA County COVID 19 cases going up!
« on: May 04, 2020, 11:26:20 am »
LA County COVID 19 cases going up! Why? Because the want to open the stores & they are not practicing social distancing! More people are getting COVID 19.

If You Open The Country Too Early & Not Practicing Social Distancing You Will Get COVID 19 & Spread To Others!

way to soon to open things back up,,,  Ohio is opening things up also,,,  slowly but still to soon. People won't stay away from each other,,,  they won't wear masks,,,  we started out with only a few cases,,,  but in the lat week we have gotten 5 cases in that week.  Shows how fast it happens

Because testing is increasing & the 'Cumulative cases by day' adds up the total as they increase daily? People "wanting to open the stores" does not increase Covid 19 -- stores haven't even opened in the county yet.

LA COUNTY Covid 19 cases are steadily decreasing daily -- look at the bar graphs that show 'New cases by day' &  'Deaths by day' -- see the very last bar graph on the right side of each chart?  See how they are progressively going down day by day & much lower today?  That means the curve is decreasing & we are successfully flattening the curve. Yay!

Yeah I saw that today on Facebook. It's to soon to open places and the demonstrators  arnt wearing masks or keeping a distance from others.

I think that will happen in all states, until we can get more testing for everyone, some people just refuse to wear mask or to do social distancing and they may be asymptomatic and not know that they are; I think things are opening to fast and numbers will continue to go up or those places that perhaps had them going down will see an upward trend unless proper cleaning and social distance can take place. Don't know when we come out of this !

Over 800 people have died today!

Over 1500 in cases!

You seem to be confused...

"California recorded its first week-over-week decline in reported coronavirus deaths, a promising if preliminary sign of progress as Gov. Gavin Newsom prepares to reopen some businesses this week."

"Even hard-hit parts of the state saw some relief. Los Angeles County, home to 55% of California's COVID-19 deaths despite having only one-quarter of the state's population, saw its reported weekly death toll flatten for the first time: 315 deaths each week for the last two weeks."

There's no guarantee you will get COVID-19 if you go out. Depends on your immune system. Cases are probably going up because there's more testing being done plus a lot of states are going over their data to see if it's correct or if they missed anything. This country has to open up soon or there won't even be any food and people will start dying of starvation. If you follow the guidelines and are careful, you should be okay.

Thank you for stating this. From what I've been reading, cases are decreasing in LA County. California in general has been good at following social distancing and quarantine protocols.
