Pestilence was 1 of many signs.When Jesus kingdom rule started in 1914 U can see in 1918 there was already a deadly disease in 1918.Since then we have had AIDS,cancers,heart disease etc.

That was only pestilence.Many other things have happened in that generation he spoke of such as wars,earthquakes,to name a few.

It's horrible and a lot of deaths could have been prevented but unfortunately we have an idiot in office who thought it was a hoax and did nothing.  Just stay safe everyone stay home when you don't have to go out.

I think a big part of the problem is people are refusing to take personal responsibility for keeping themselves and others around them safe. Look we are all tired of wearing these masks; but unfortunately that seems to be our new normal for at least awhile.

The idiots are the people who are buying in to the fear. Not sure what you want Trump to do. He tried to stop the first people from being flown in to the US who they knew were positive. He was ignored. Nothing he could do after the airliner was in route. I guess they could have shot it down over the ocean but I am sure you would have frowned upon that too. The death rate is less than 2%.  What part of 98% of people who get this flu virus recover?

They have been projecting that 70% of Americans will become infected with Covid-19 for months. Not sure it really is a matter of doing anything wrong.

  Agreed.  Many countries started doing something in December and January after hearing about it, but our "leader" was topo busy saying it was a hoax to make him look bad.  He still "thinks" he knows more than the scientists and doctors.

No countries were doing anything in December. The WHO said in January that they found no human-human transmission.

Apparently everything.  I live in Florida and in my opinion people are being allowed to do whatever they want and not do whatever they don't want.  If they don't want to wear masks or social distance they don't - they crowd up on the beach and in bars except there were so many infections now I think they have reclosed bars.  I don't know I just keep praying and standing on Psalms 91:10

I believe it is a direct result of testing so many individuals. Most show no symptoms, a few will get sick, and a very small percentage will die. It's the flu, albeit a bad one. Precautions should be taken just like we've always done in the flu season. That's IMO.

I know I am in the minority here on FC because fear has gripped so many. Have you considered that it may be a political tactic? I'm just sayin'.

Nearly every country (if not all) in the world is dealing with this, some harder hit than others. Trump can't monitor the situation in every city, county and state individually. It's easier to control on a local level. My state has been doing fairly well so far, because the governor has been opening things up more slowly. If your area is a free-for-all and your hospitals are overwhelmed, that's on your local officials.

IM G,He showed he was a dunce having that rally 2 wks ago in Okla.This virus seems very contagious around crowds for the most part.Not exactly a good leader and example.

The governing body of Jehovahs organization have the BEST instruction.They have shut down their meetings and stopped the door to door ministry where virus is.

They tell us to listen to authoritys here as long as it doesnt compromise Gods law and NOT to be so casual.Be wise and smart.

Its EZ to see why infections have gone up being casual while in NY Cuomo was on top of bringing #s down what he did.

Listen i know it hadda be painful for many stores etc to shut down.But God stresses life NOT money.Money is NO good if UR dead.

And again the bible stresses the fact in last days of this system critical times and pestilence will be some signs that we R  in those times.

The more people who get the virus the faster we get to herd immunity, we need 20% of the population to get it to benefit from herd immunity. The graph that shows the deaths shows that America has gone up and then down & has been flattening & that is what we needed to do, flatten the curve.
