Some pre-pays take 2-3 days for balances to show up. Most of them register it almost instantly.

Direct deposit is the way to go, you get it real fast. I do Direct Deposit and i love it. Its alot better then waiting on a check to come in the mail.

I do not like to do direct deposit because I do not like to give out my banking info but I never thought about a pre-paid card.  Let us know if it works for you and if there was a delay.

I do not like this concept. Direct Deposit no way. To me that is to personal to give out such information.  I rather have the check and deposit it myself

Pay pal or direct deposit are both faster and your payment won't get lost. If that happens it could be a big hassel. I set up a special account for mine and prefer cash. Problem with debit cards is you have to watch the balance and some purchases will put a temporary "hold" on more than you actually spend. Most likely you'll just get declined but be careful because some will tack on an extra fee if you accidentaly go over.  :o

I just looked this up myself since I get my cash sent to my paypal. Paypal says "This card is an exclusive benefit for Premier and Business accounts.". I only have a personal account. So unless you have a business account then I don't believe you can get a paypal debit card? Can someone clarify this? :)

I'm pretty happy with money being sent to my paypal. I can just transfer funds to my bank account later if I need to.  :cat:
