I'm confused....

The amount of COVID cases are spiking, people are still struggling from the fallout of the pandemic, and yet, stores are packed and traffic is almost always crowded (except for early morning and/or late at night perhaps)....can someone explain what's going on?

What's going on? Life. People still have to go to work. People still have to go shopping for necessities. Sometimes you have to go to multiple stores to get all the stuff you need, since random things tend to be out of stock. And now it's the holiday season, so people are out shopping for gifts too, I suppose.

People are living their lives. How do you know that the stores are packed and traffic is always crowded unless YOU too are out and about?

Exactly. Not to mention we have been lied to.  People need to learn to do some research on their own and not just believe everything the media spoon feeds them.

I think you can keep living just need to be a little more diligent than in the past.

It's almost Christmas.  There's always a lot of traffic at this time of year.

That's why I am happy to live in the country and live in a small community. I usually do Walmart pick up or go into the store during a weekday morning. It's doesn't seem as busy as other times. I always wear a mask, but so many people don't.

I think one reason the number of cases are rising is because more people are taking the test.  I have also heard that if you take the test and have a cold or the flu it will show positive for covid.

I understand people might just "Be living their lives" but that's the exact thing that got us into this problem into the first place....I'm not suggesting we live in fear, but a little common sense and respect goes a long way (wearing masks, etc.)...I'm afraid we're already being gaslighted and not learning our lessons, which is exactly what many predict will happen
