I'm all for long trips, and they're even better when such trips take me out of my comfort zone and put me in a totally different culture, for instance.

Oh, I understand, and I'd love to go to Korea because I think their culture is totally different. I even started learning Korean, and even though I just watch TV shows and movies on lingopie in Korean, I feel like I'd be able to understand a native without many difficulties, so I hope that in a few months, I'll be able to go there.

I don't particularly like long trips because it gets boring real fast.

I like taking long trips, sometimes I would imagine me on a long space journey to Jupiter or to Mars that take me months to take

I enjoy long and short trips.  I do enjoy traveling.  I like car trips, you can talk about so many things that you just never have time to do when you are home.

I'm all for the long trips as well, and for me, it makes you feel the culture of another country and understand what it's like to be a native there, at least a little bit. The only exception I made when I started planning a trip with the Antarctica cruise itinerary on board the Ocean Endeavour, but I think even 11 days will be enough because it's something totally different.

I hate long trips but trips that are too short are not that good either, trips should be equidistant

In the past, taking long trips if you are driving, was fun.  Inflation has stopped all this.
