Whats a good movie that's out in theatres?

If you don't mind standing in a line for a while (I had to for 2 hours),do yourself a favor and go see Avatar- in 3D if you can! You'll laugh,you'll cry-you'll have a great time!

A movie I recomend is The Blind Side.  It is a very, very good movie.  Sandra Bullock and Tim Mcgraw are great in this movie..  I def. give it a

I would strongly suggest Avatar (YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS IN 3-D!) or Sherlock Holmes. I didn't have high expectations when I went to see these, but I was wowed. Very good movies :]

You HAVE to see it in 3-d. The movie plot and everything is good and all, but the real reason the movie has been getting so much attention is because of the crazy effects and visuals. You really feel like you're on a different planet watching that movie..I was even slightly disappointed when I walked out of the movie theater and saw plain streets afterwards.

ha ha thats crazy, never heard of such a thing in my life, where would i see this in 3-d?

I would have to say avatar to my brother has seen it twice already and in 3-d

I'd have to say Avatar.  It is really an amazing movie!  Even though the 3-D glasses only make the movie bump up about, I don't know, two to three inches out of the screen,  it makes everything seem really real.

yea avatar is amazing. i was able to watch it in 3-d, and was one of the few movies i actually went out of my way to go watch. heard sherlock holmes was good. so im going to watch it soon. blind side was really good too.

If i can go off-topic for a sec, a movie that's NOT in theaters but i thought was really good was 'the usual suspects'
awesome movie right there. even though it's really old and some older people i know make fun of me for not watching it until now.
the shawshank redemption was pretty good too

Alvin & The Chipmunks the Squeakquel and 2012. But if you want to save your money and watch it at home, and you have a computer, then go to www.ch131.com, and download any movie that is currently playing in the theatre for FREE! I couldn't believe it, how cool! Doesn't mess up the computer either. And it's legal. Plus, there are other t.v. shows and movies you can download as well. Check it out!

*sigh* idk wats up w/ me but im always the one to dis on the new "big hit" movie out there that everyones FREAKING out about. I probably wont even get to a movie theatre within the next 5-10 years, i'd rather save my money for something big than waste it on occasional past time..... But i also heard somebody commited suicide after watching Avatar because of what abstract1er quoted, people were disappointed/depressed with the real life after leaving the theatre. I feel these are probably some kinda low life people not accustom to change.... So it was probably going to happen sooner or later...

Another thing about the 3-d, to me i cant believe in 3-d, becuase everything i view with my own eyes is technically 3.....d... or even 4-d. So wearing a pair of paper glasses with one side red and the other blue is just going to get irritating and give me a headache. Im specialized in art and know how the seperation of color into making it seem like its 3d works so i fight it more than go with it.... sorry but you wont be recieving my $10 admission.....
