Message in a bottle

Anyone ever write a message in a bottle and throw it out in the water?  I did when I was a kid.  I just read this cool story about a guy who works cleaning up rivers and finds messages in bottles from people.  It was a cool story check it out.

Thanks for sharing the link to the story about messages in bottles.  I never would have thought that there would be so many messages sent in bottles.

I dont know if i ever did that. I remember wanting to. That would be cool to find peoples messages and see what they have written.

Yup every time i send a message on facebook lol. I set my tounge to pirate so every icon & error message shows up in pirate AHOY!

I've only heard about this from movies and such...never thought of any real world use.

Thanks for the kool story ...  how sentimental and sweet ... I think I'll send a message in a bottle one day with my cell phone # on it and see if someone will call me ... LOL !
