Hello everyone, I work as a developer of passive WDM components and we check the spectral transmission characteristics, noise level, and spurious waves to ensure the quality of channel activation. Is there anyone here who is knowledgeable about this topic and could recommend a good optical spectrum analyzer for this job?

What company do you work for? It's a very interesting job. To be honest, I would also like to have such a profession. I currently work in a laboratory, and we perform similar tasks. Regarding the device, I recommend the Keysight 86142B. It's ideal for testing filters and WDM passive components. You can read more about its features here: https://www.testwall.com/optical-communications-test/optical-spectrum-analyser/ . Another important feature is its fast dual-sweep mode, which allows you to test without stopping production. What optical spectrum analyzer are you currently using?
