Have you ever seen a ghost?

I have...

My mother, sister and I where driving to one of my mom's friend's house late one night when I was a lot younger. As we pulled into the drive we all seen a woman dressed in a white night gown sitting on the front porch. (This was a old house in the middle of town) As we pulled in the drive the woman stood up, turned around, opened the front door, proceeded to walk in and closed the door behind her. We didn't think anything of it...until we when inside the house. There were 3 people sitting in the living room FULLY DRESSED. When we asked about who just came inside, they told us no one had been outside in at least a hour! We told them about the woman and they wasn't shocked the least! They showed us a room and the back of the house that no one used. Everything inside was covered by white sheets...really creepy. When we got back to the living room the continued to tell us that late at night you'll sometimes see a hand reaching around the corner out of that room from the corner of your eye and that if you stay up late enough, early in the morning you'll sometimes see a white mist "float" down the hall, into the kitchen, sit down at the table for a few minutes, and then float back down the hall and disappear.

They told us this in the most casual tone as if it was a normal occurrence for them, part of the routine... That was my first and only "ghost" story.

I would like to see one, I watch ghost shows all the time.  I sometimes think I see something late at night, but nothing I would call a ghost

Well vlsm23, I think there are more than just ghosts...    I think there are demons out there too. I watch "A Haunting" all the time on Discovery.

I haven't, but I think my dog sees them.  We've seen him just laying down resting or sleeping and then all of a sudden his head pops up very fast and he fixates towards the ceiling or wall and stares and stares.  Then he slowly moves his head, still fixated, as if he is following something which is moving.  Every time it happens we try and find something which could be causing him to do it (ie. moving light from a car outside, shadows, what not) and there never is anything.  Very peculiar.

Our neighbors have told us that the previous owners had their ashes spread in the back yard after they died, so maybe he is seeing them. 

However, even though I myself haven't seen a ghost, I do believe they exist.
