Gods will is Gods Wisdom. Gods will is  Colossians 1:9 " For this reason we have always prayed for you, ever since we heard about you . We ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will, with all the wisdom and understanding that his Spirit gives...Colossians 1:10 Then you will be able to live as the Lord wants and will always do what pleases him. Your lives will produce all kinds of goood deeds, and you will grow in your knowledge of God. To those with negative or positive view of forum post. Doesnt make or break my spirit. Its just a post for the month. To each its own. Those on or off drugs, may post. Atheist or Believers might post. Gay or Straight might post. Black or white might post. But what it boils down to is that "I got your attention to POST LOL.

HIS WILL is for none to perish [go to hell] but that all will come to the knowledge of YESHUA/JESUS... HE made us all in HIS image and then sent HIS Only SON to die so that we will have a covering for our sin. But until our eyes are opened, we won't see HIS love or HIS miracles. Sad but true.

It can be both. Whatever state of mind you allow your mind to be in. Either was it is not good. Your mind has to be transformed one way to do that is through the word of God.

mrstina I agree. when i get down I go to the WORD... it ends that depression and oppression because it is Alive... HE ends all shame.

God doesn't "Put you through hell" And he doesn't "send people to hell"..
Whether or not you go to hell is your choice.

you are right, our own free choice puts us in hell... we can choose light or darkness... children of light stay away from the darkness and this world is very dark.  children of darkness stay away from the light.

You posted this at the right time.  There is another thread where latina lost her husband on May 22nd.  I know that has knocked her down and that's hard to deal with.  Maybe you could give her some words of comfort, too. 

Sorry for her loss.  none but GOD can fill her emptiness - I feel so inadequate to speak to her, for I know she is hurting and with such a deep hurt we tend not to hear others and rather they just go away and leave us alone... and while I am compassionate and even desire to comfort her - I can feel only pain for her. I will ask the GOD of Shalom to send the comforter to her, to wrap her in Shalom. I wish I could do more. Shalom to you for caring for her.

I don't know why these arguments keep getting brought up. It's always the same thing, Christian believers use the Bible as a source of proof, and non-Believers refute that. Without compromise and open-mindedness the so-called debate will never be a true debate. It just seems to be pointless to me because us Christians get accused of being "sheep" and "followers" while the other side does not take into account that faith does not have to have proof. I have gone from being a believer, to not, and back again so I do see both sides of the argument. But that's just it, there is rarely a true argument anymore.

all we need do is look at the difference in families who live by the Bible and those who do not. I difference is extreme.
one is good, the other is not. All we need do is tell them, after that we need to dust our feet. GOD can handle them, I don't have too.
I don't mind being called a Bible Humper, in fact I like the Title and am not ashamed. Again, as Noah was laughed at for over 100 yrs
while he built the Ark, they stopped laughing and making fun of him when GOD closed the door of the Ark and it began to rain.
Remember there are stories in the WORD that give us hope, even when we are laughed at. In fact,  we could laugh at them if it were not so serious. and then there was Lazarus. But to us it is wonderful, to others it is a stumbling block & foolishness.

i think both can be equally as opinionated. It just base on their level of education, ability to think critically, and their vocabularly level.

I have met men who are and women who are, so I think we are all opinionated when we really believe in something, we get emotional... perhaps some just keep their opinions to them selves better than others. I know I am opinionated, but I believe if we stand for nothing, we will fall for anything. But I often reserve my opinion among strangers at least until I know if I am in friendly territory or not. I refuse to argue and I find if folks do not share my opinion I am in the wrong company. So I tend to avoid them. The one place I enjoy going is Temple/Synagogue/church because most folks there have witnessed heart ache first hand and understand - most have one reason to be there and that is to praise GOD and hopefully choose not to be critical because we have not walked in the shoes of our neighbor - and there fore have no right to judge another.

This person didn't/doesn't know the Lord Jesus Christ as a personal Saviour.  Otherwise, she would have no fear of the Great Tribulation.  True Christians won't go through that seven years of misery and woe.  We will be with the Lord Jesus Christ awaiting His return to conquer satan forever. 

Too bad she hadn't been educated enough to know before doing that horrible act.  That's way I'm a big supporter of missionaries ~ to get God's Word out to people living in ignorance.  The more I study The Word, the more understanding I get from the passages.  It's absolutely amazing at powerful knowledge in one book!

It is alive - and those who have been touched by the WORD - know HIS WORD and will not believe any such hype. Those who do not know HIM
spend their time making fun of those who do know HIM... Sad but true, we can only pity them for most refuse to listen. Kind of like the days of Noah when the world laughed at him for over 100 years for building the Ark and it had never rained before. Yes, he saved my life from the brink of death...at 21  and im 43 and here to tell you about it.

I too have seen miracles. some where doctors were involved, some doctors were not. But GOD is the healer, doctors are still practicing.

First of all religion is man made, there is only one truth and one God, and that will give you your answer, upon recent readings, I am led to believe hell is in the center of the earth, as many report a drop that is extremely hot, a smell of burning sulfer, and a horrid experience that they have seen. The temperture is probably around 3000 degrees or so, you want a trickle of water so bad you can't stand it, the demons constantly torture you, and some are chained to the walls, there is no way out, there is only the hope you have now, accepting the truth. accepting the gift. God wants none of us to go to hell, that was a place only created for satan and his fallen angels(demons), who some roam up and down the earth now, God wants no one to go there so He sent His Son as a sacrifice so we wouldnt have to. This is not a man made religion, this is a choice, and the dreadful things I have not only heard but seen somethings myself tell me that you better accept what Love and Mercy God give you in His Son Jesus Christ, because there are people down there right now, in excruciating pain crying, and hollaring for help, but it is too late, God will not hear you there, you have to accept Him here. And this folks is the complete truth, the man made religions that are about the world are satans attempt to throw everyone off coarse of the truth and away from God so his demons may torture you and cut your head off several times. I know this to be true, I have seen demons, and they have come back and these things are not ghosts, as people believe, but satans demons.

You are absolutely right... oneday darkness & light will separate - darkness will go into the pit and light into the heavens never again to mingle...
I want to go to the place of light where there will be no sickness, sadness, sorrow, pain or death for all eternity... I am excited about that and while I do regret all these folks don't know HIM, I will not be answering for them at judgment. Fortunately some will awaken when they loose someone or their own health. Hopefully they will go up, but we know few are chosen. Like Lazarus, I can over look their arrogance because I know one day I will be walking on streets of gold, singing Amazing Grace.

So your telling me... that anyone who does not accept christ will be doomed to eternal suffering???
ok.
so what if...... i cured cancer. ended world hunger and made sure every child in the world got and education?... but heres the catch. i was an outspoken athiest who mocked religion and denied it completely. would your god send me to suffer for eternity, despite the fact of all the good i had done?

I know what you mean you think it's irrational to believe in a document full of things unseen, but it's about as real to me as feelings and I can't see those, I can rationalize the expressions of people as happy or sad etc but I can't literally see emotions.
Good works won't get you there... and denial of GOD who sent HIS only SON to die for your sin issues a curse. you can take it from there.

  good point i don't think that you have to be a christian in order to enter heaven as long as you have faith in him and do his will.

If you do his will you'll put the father and his kingdom first because that's what Jesus prayed for...

the same guy predicted an end in 94 too, didn't he? wonder if that didn't make him feel foolish enough?
