Chase sends coupons to my house for $100-$125 do open a new account with direct deposit.  I don't have a job for direct deposit (and otherwise you have to make 5 purchases a month with your account) so that sucks for me.

Right now the offer for $100 you only need to make 5 purchases or direct deposit JUST TO AVOID the monthly fee of $6.95/mo.
and you do have a direct deposit available to use...FUSION CASH !!!!!  That is what I am setting up today. 
If you don't want to do the direct deposit, just buy a pack of gum - 5 times...Ta Da!  Free checking and $100 Free too

Ha ha, now you are lucky to get a good interest rate. But alot at least offer free checking now. Nope, I don't think I have seen any toasters offered lately, probably not that much appeal as in the olden days, when a wife stayed at home and dreamed about owning her very own toaster. Hey now they could give us a free mousepad or accounting software or something.

I've only had one checking account. It was with Chase. They have pretty nice perks, but the only thing I got for free (like most have said) was checks.

My bank doesnt have give aways.  But they are faithful in sending me mail when I have an oops////

Banks just don't offer this stuff anymore...one time I got a free pizza and another time an mp3 player (in the day before the ipod)

Best thing I ever got from my bank was a Fiji water stand outside the door. I was really thirsty!
