who loves extra butter popcorn ?

I like popcorn but I can't really eat it. Popcorn and I don't really get along. However, I prefer Kettle Corn over buttered popcorn. It's hard to find a good buttered popcorn that actually has 'butter' on it, especially if you're on something of a tight budget. I like putting pepper on my buttered (or lack there of) popcorn. Any day though, I'd choose Kettle over butter. :b

The best way to get good butter popcorn with actual butter on it when you have a tight budget is ...

Making your own on the stove top! You don't even need a popcorn popper. Just a big pot with a lid, and some oven mitts (or something to keep your hands safe and shake the pot). Buy butter in bulk at Sam's or Costco, and get the bulk popcorn too ... not the bags of it, just kernels of popping corn. The price per ounce is so much better when you do it this way. And it's fun, tastes better, and all that too.

I like to make my popcorn in a little bit of olive oil instead, though, personally. Instead of butter. I also like to add some spices or seasonings, depending on my mood. ginger popcorn? cheese popcorn? oh yes!
