Do you think they were right to pass the Arizona law or was the judge right in striking down most of its components?

From what I understand, they were merely enforcing current federal laws. 

Regardless of how you feel about the policies in this law, the federal judge was in the right to stop Arizona because this is a federal issue and the federal government is to decide how to enforce it's laws.

Now... should this be a state issue? That is another discussion.
