WARNING! PLEASE READ!! WOZO.COM IS A SCAM!!
« on: November 09, 2010, 07:46:33 am »
If you ever saw this poster site back off..this site charges an unauthorize $29.99 for nothing. I tried to sign up for this last september and tried the 99 cents poster. Then I thought i just have to cancel it since i don't need any posters in my house, i know fusion cash would get the credit back but thats ok. I tried to cancel my account several times but their email never even once sent me a notification or confirmation of my order. I just waited for a reply but nothing came. To my surprise my credit card was billed with 29.99 pointing it to wozo and another 99 cents for the poster. I received one but got the wrong poster. I sent a complaint and even called them but has never heared anything from them. There are also lots of victims out there so do a reseach about wozo before signing up. I already filed a complaint here in fusioncash to remove that wozo. Don't fall for this scammer. Check your credit cards just incase you had been charge you will be charge everymonth by this fraud site, and you won't see any on their website about the terms and conditions they were saying. Again don't fall for this scam like us.

There are other poster scams too. I bought a poster of the word trade center, and 3 others. that arrived shortly, on a Friday. but the shipping and handling charges not specified in the ad were exorbitant. I intended to cancel, but  on Monday another order arrived. which I returned and cancelled the shipment of of any other shipments. Overall, I must have paid $45 for 4 posters. They were awesome posters, but way to expensive. Read the terms and conditions and be wary.

Wozo is NOT a scam; I did that offer on a different GPT site and was credited for it and was able to cancel my trial just fine.  Your problem probably came from not reading their fine print: I believe you have just 4 days to call them and cancel from the time you sign up, if I'm remembering correctly.  You can not just email these trial offers to cancel; you actually have to call them.

Excuse marieelissa for being harsh to you, but the gist of what she is saying is that it's not cool to go on a rant about one of FusionCash's advertisers and falsely label the company a scam, when in reality, it was your own tough luck for not reading the fine print.

when did you see this terms and conditions? they never even gave a confirmation notice of the order. I have been trying to contact them several times but it always fail. There are other victims as well, you weren't in our situation so you won't even know it, and up to now i haven't received any mails, so tell me if its a good site. a support email that never replies. you have reported me for trying to tell other to be aware of such thing, its ok there would always be people who would only think good for themselves.

i have filed a report for marieelissa too for using such language. I never thought trying to share a bad experience to give people proper awareness would have such treatment. People would always commit mistakes and sorry for those who can't accept others mistake and instead of sympathizing they tend to put you down even more and tell you bad stuff.

I was thinking about doing that offer too, but it sounded to good to be true: you pay $0.99 for a poster and get $5 in return. Because of that (and also how one of the steps was listed as "Sign Up") I became cautious and read the Terms and Conditions (the link is on the bottom of the page, sort of small but it's there if you know to look for it) where it stated that you had to call the number and cancel within 4 days after giving them your credit card number, or else they would automatically enroll you into their poster club which entails a $29.99 monthly fee. After reading that I decided not to go for it. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to cancel in time (I've heard of other truly scam sites that make you jump thru hoops to cancel and causes you to go over their short grace period) and I didn't want to risk that it was a scam. from what marieelissa is saying, it may not be a scam but the short grace period means they are probably catching more people unawares than those that actually follow thru with canceling on time.

As you do more offers, you'll learn to tread lightly... Even things that are true to their word and are not scams can really get you in the butt if you blindly go into it.

BTW, marieelissa can you corroborate that you got the bonus at FC and were still able to cancel in the 4 day grace period without getting charged and additional $29.99? And you were still able to keep the poster you got for 99-cents? If all of that is true, then it may be a very good offer to complete, if you keep in mind their grace period.

Your right, marieelissa... I thought the rules were just about calling advertisers a scam, but I re-read the rules and #2 specifically stated about that. Sorry, I wasn't tring to catch you  :-[ .

I love when people don't bother to read the rest of the posts when responding to the OP.  This is not how you earn your paid to post, people!

I would take that number down.

Okay I did.  Please delete where you quoted me just in case.  I did not know it was against the rules to help the poor girl out by copy pasting the TOS she so clearly overlooked.  Thanks.  :)

thanks for the help queenofnines its really nice to know people trying to help you instead of putting you down i know the admin would understand. Maybe it was my mistake but we hope that the terms and conditions written there is more visible, when people try to sign up for something yes your correct you just get fooled by how big the rewards would be and not think of the whatever their policies are. I'll look at that terms your saying quuenofnines don't be sorry were not perfect humans we always do commit mistakes, next time just be cautious.

I agree with you sherieann_glino08. I was charged 29.99 fee before my subscription had expired. Dont know  what is going but. I had to get my bank involed to get the credit. Although wozo has never responded. Thanks for filing an complain against marilessa. People can be so ugly and not respect others.

thanks mrstina that's true we also had our bank help us, I've tried to look at the site again but can't find the link to the terms and agreement, I just typed it on a search web I saw that thing but it doesn't have a link on the website itself I tried to get back to the homepage and see where was it linked but failed. And I never get an email from them since September when I first subscribed, when I called their phone they said they were closed for some reason. Well lucky for those who saw the terms and conditions and got the thing cancelled immediately but please don't step on other people just because they made a mistake.

I just hope they'll make some changes with the site to avoid stuff like this. Everybody's trying their best to make a living and is working hard for it, its just really sad when other just takes advantage and make themselves rich by doing wrong things to others, we have a very bad economy right now and there would always be people who would try to get money out from you in the most possible way, now we have to be more careful and observant with things.
