Why is sudown syndrome and vascualr dementia so dangerous? Any ideas? :dontknow:

I think dementia amplifies normal senior problems, because they can't anticipate problems, and then can't properly deal with the problems once they occur.

Sundown syndrome is literally when the sun starts to go down, people with Alzheimer's will for some reason go back into their past. My theory is that's when everyone would be coming home for dinner and sleep and that acts as a trigger. But they can wander off, not know either where or when they are and can get hurt.
