Cats are very soothing.  They also belong indoors.  And outdoor cat has a very short life span.

You could still call a cat rescue and find out.  If nothing else, it should get shots and such - like distemper, rabies, and flea rx.  Flea season is coming, you know!

I plan on taking him to the vet within the week, His ears were clean when he arrived and he looked well fed.
