Kids home for the summer
« on: June 12, 2011, 07:25:29 pm »
Hey there out there... anyone have any fun ideas that I can do with my kids this summer in Michigan? I am trying to keep it fairly "reasonable" in price. It's going to be a long summer!

do craft with your kids, kids crafts, you can search from internet, then you can do together, cardboard, yarn card, paper craft, cardboard box storage, even some sewing stuff(by hand)....

Thanks for the ideas! I love the garden idea! Now, it will be just a matter of keeping the rabbits out! :)

If you are ambitious, you could have a theme each week, including crafts, some learning & inexpensive "field trips" that somehow tie in with the theme. I know, it is a bit ambitious, but I heard of one mom doing this and I wish I had thought of this when they were younger.
