not remembering

I have always had a hard time remembering names, but as I get older, it does get worse, as someone indicated.  Sometimes I go through the alphabet in my head to try and remember names or other things, and often it works.

I've always had issues remembering names.  I remember faces and events/locations where I met them - but it takes several times before I get their name associated.  I "blame" it on my dyslexia.  If I'm in a conversation with the person for longer than general chit-chat, I just outright tell them I remember their face, but can't recall their name (I also qualify that they may need to tell me several more times in the future before it'll sink in  ). 

Most times their reaction is "No problem, I can't remember names either!"
