I think it's crazy, her and the doctor should have thought of what they where doing.  Now her mom's house is being forclosed so what she going to do because she does not work.

it is crazy! i dont know what she is going to do. so many people would love to even have one kid and there she is with 14 that she wont be able to give enough attention to. one of her kids has autism and another one is showing signs of autism. kids with disabilities need special attention. she doesnt even know if any of the octuplets will have any kind of disability. i feel sad for those kids and hope that they grow up without any problems. as for the mother what is she thinking?

I know, isn't that insane?! She has a website with nothing on it except one picture of each of her eight babies and a link to give her MONEY!! I really hope she falls flat on her face with that one! Not that my intention is to be mean, but should she really be able to use those babies so she can get through life by being lazy and having everything done for her because of a conscious choice to do so??

I think it is so said what this women is doing. I think she should not get any help at all. My 20 year old daughter has a son and not so soon after she became pregnant and had triplets.We don't get any donations and she is in school full time and has a part time job. The octo mom is just a lazy and selfish woman. I fell nothing for what she has done.
I do fell sorry for her children and all of the tax payers who are paying for this. They should stop giving here things and make her get a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That woman should be ashamed of herself. She has made herslef into nothing more than a laughingstock and fodder for late night comedy shows. She's also managed to ruin the lives of all 14 of those children before they're even old enough to understand. In about 15-20 years from now, possibly even before that, those children are going to be seriously messed up. I think that it's in the best interest of all of those involved to find a solution to that problem. Especially for those children.

Their lives have been put under a microscope. The whole world now knows all about their lives and their living conditions and such. Of course they are going to suffer. 20 years from now, those children are going to be known as the children of that crazy lady. It's the same as any child who has been put under media attention negatively.

While I agree with freedom of choice, I don't get what she was thinking. There should have been a limit on something like that.
