« on: May 08, 2012, 06:03:50 am »
Ok all I am in Texas I am from Maine but since coming to texas ten years ago off and on lately I have really noticed that I am a minority I cant get a job, cant get help, and am more or less told I have to learn spanish the apartment i live in is like 95 percent hispanic and the majority cant speak english. Why doesnt the government do something. I worked in a store where I seen first hand hispanic people getting Food Stamps and most of them were getting like 800 to 1000 a month now they come in and buy junk food and a few non food stamp item when you tell them the balance is 5-20 dollars they whip out a hundred dollar bill how can someone get foodstamps and have like 5-6 100 dollar bills in their wallet I just dont get it what has the good ole USA come to???

Are you also aware of the massive tax refunds illegals receive?  This should be enough to anger every American.  Over 4.2 billion given away to illegals in 2010 (buying votes is sure getting damned expensive isn't it).  This video will tell it better than I could:  http://www.wthr.com/video?clipId=7054149&topvideocatno=103348&autostart=true
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Very good, a reminder of how it is when someone more powerful and aggresive comes in and takes your land.  Reminds me of, "When the white man came we had the land and they had the bibles, now we have the bibles and they have the land."  - or - Asking the chief what he called America before the white man came and he answered, "Ours."

Due to the random cycles of migration, (way back before any Euro-colonists arrived on the east coast), there were non-indigenous tribes which were pushed out of the lands they were nomading around on by other nomadic tribes, (mostly migrating from Siberia, Polynesia and the Korean peninsula after migrating from elsewhere to those areas).  There's no 'legal' precedent for being the second-to-last to "call dibs".  Although there is extensive historical precedent for warring over land or other stuff and either winning or losing such conflicts.  We can only speculate what may have resulted had the 'non-indigenous' tribes which defeated otehr non-indigenous tribes had also defeated the Euro-colonists before they could establish a foothold in north america.

I don't mind if people come to our country for a better life but can the government at least make them citizens so they can pay their fair share and companies don't exploit them for cheap labor. It hurts our country even more to have these people here without putting anything into the system and taking money out of it.

The political class has decided that cheap labor for their business pals and handouts in exchange for votes trumps their oath of office and the protection of the American worker.  It is sickening, but an unfortunate fact of life.  Politicians selling out Americans for money and votes.

Yeah, sickening ... that never ever happens with republicans; just democrats, (even if party was unspecified in the implicit innuendo).

No, definitely directed at both parties.  Only a tiny fraction of Republicans are talking about this issue and they definitely aren't RNC favorites.

Nothing noticed from Romney on the issue yet?

Don't hold your breath if you are expecting him to tackle this issue.

Having lived in a border town for several years i have seen it all. They come over here illegal, use our hospitals,  never pay a cent. free schooling, free lunches. free doctors, and can't understand why we get mad and want something done. They bunch up and live like they were still in other countries trash is everywhere, use the outdoor for their toiliets and it smells awful. Leave trash everywhere. This is America and i refuse to speak spainish. My husband is white  and speaks spainsh, where he grew he had to learn it. Boy does hear a lot of crap from them. and they don't even know he speaks it. If they want to live here do it the right way just like everyone else.
