I live a few houses down from a millionaire and he ALWAYS has a huge firework display (seems better than the one the city puts on). It was amazing as usual. Had a great time watching them.

We had a burn ban here so we watched the fireworks display put on by the city.

Heard them in the distance last night.  But we use to live in a community where we heard none!  Never figured out why - it wasn't a retirement neighborhood.  I think fewer people spend money on them nowadays.

We have a fireworks ban. So only get to see shows put on by the city. Saw it from the lanai of my building. Got to see something so that was cool. Just wish the city didn't ban fireworks....so boring now.

I think the displays the towns put on have changed alot over the years and the audience as well. I remember that they were done alot more slowly and you could hear the oohs and ahhs from people watching them. Now they are shot off so fast that they kind of blend together, and even at the end you don't hear feedback from the audience.  They used to clap their hands at the end. I admit it has been a long time since its been that way. I'm not a spring chick lol

Fireworks!  [/color] Love to see fireworks when I can! I did safety last night and didn't light any! When the cities and towns do the firework shows, I love to watch them!  ;D

Not much happened in our neighborhood, but I heard them go off around the city. Glad I do not have any pets anymore as they used to freak out when the bangs started up.

The San Diego fireworks show was the best...EVER.  Even though it lasted 15 seconds.
