Absolutely not!  I believe that if it was mandatory that every home owner had to own a gun that robberies, home invasions, etc. would drop significantly.

You know, they actually tried that in a town in Georgia, and the crime level there isnow practically non-existent, at least compared to what it was before.

I am torned, I think you should be able to protect yourself if someone break into your house, but I have grandkids and children get ahold of the gun sometimes.  I really want a hand gun for myself for protection, but I don't know.

No.  And unlike our government which does all kinds of things that are illegal these days according to the constitution, they would need to amend the Constitution in order to outlaw guns entirely.  Of course all 3 branches like the violate the Constitution consistently these days, so I'm sure they would find some way around it. 

In addition to the difficulty of getting it done, I also think it would also be a bad idea.

Historically speaking, I don't think we could all just get along, although most of us would love to. That is until someone is hurt, threatened, scared, and there rights are violated lol.

 Without guns this  country would not exist and have.and we wouldn't have have food on the table some people use guns to hunt with. without guns how could you go hunting question and get food will when you need to I don't personally hunting The food they need for their families.is not the guns that her people are able as people are people. If so they will also create a mass murderer like layouts they can find ways of doing it they can make baldness or they can make fire everything they can do.

I personally do not think they should be illegal in America, but I think the rules for acquiring them should be more strict and more carefully enforced, especially on handguns. The US Constitution is clear.  Amendment 2 reads "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." That being said, I think it's important to keep guns where guns are needed, and safely out of the reach or those who may use them for wrong.

I don't own a gun, but if you want one, that's your choice. Although I do  find it funny that when I ask parents if they own guns they get offended. I won't let my child play at a friends' house if there is a gun there, just too many kids getting their hands on them when parents think they've been responsible and locked it away. I don't think people outside of law enforcement should be able to buy assault weapons, and I think there should be a limit to how many  guys someone should own so crazies can't stockpile. But then there would be a fight of how many is enough, LOL

  I think Chris Rock had it right when he said don't outlaw guns, just sell the bullets for $5000 each-then there wouldn't be anymore innocent bystanders!
