My Dream home would be a cabin or log home that is in the middle of nowwhere with around 100-150 acres of land!!!  4 bedrooms with a full basement and a completed loft area!

My dream home would also be a 4BR 21/2 BA Log Home on 100-150 Acre of property.. with a wrap around porch.
House one level.. LOTS of land.

And PAID for.. so sick of renting!!

My dream house would be a small 500 square food two story house I built myself.

At least, that's what I plan on doing in the future. The main problem is finding a location that will let me do this without a bunch of laws restricting me and making me pay huge fees for licensing. And with just enough land to sustain myself (Small farmstead.) with maybe a few acres of forest though the last two are no really necessary.

The reason's I would hate owning a big house:

Too much to clean and maintain and would cost too much money, time, and labor.
Small house means less effort walking around. I like the idea of only walking a few feet to get to any room in the house.

More house means less land, and I like land.

Bigger the house, the less per sq ft, but the more overall. Sq ft is only important to me if I decide to rent something out.

Heating and airconditioning cost are too high. The smaller the less it cost to not only heat but the more I have to spend on insulating.

Any renovation (like repainting or installing carpet) would be a lot more expensive.

More house means more of everything: More electrical wires, more plumbing, more windows. More of any of these things means more chances of something breaking.

The bigger the house the bigger the hassle. The only people living hassle free in a big house are those who can afford to hire others to do labor on their house. I'd rather skip the entire process all together and live in a small house that's easy to maintain.

More house means less money overall. If I had more money and less house I could furnish it with high-quality items because I would not only need less of them I have more to pay for them.

The list is endless. Wanna know why people are going bankrupt and losing their houses? Our houses are way too freaking big.

My dream home would be a 3 story home with 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 half of baths, big eat in kitchen, dining room, great room, family room, living room and a sunroom. It will have a huge front and back yard, in ground pool with a small pool house. I also want a cookout area by the pool. This way no one has to go into the house because the pool house will have a bathroom. I will have double attached garage and a seperate double garage in the back. A long driveway with lights coming all the way up. WOW, I'm really dreaming!!! LOL

I've got to many Dream home's I would love to own! I'd love a big house with maids, butler's, chauffeur's, gardener's and any other person's to fit my needs at anytime!

My dream house would be a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath with hardwood floors, carpet in the bedrooms and ceramic tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms.  In the kitchen I would like granite countertops with a walk-in pantry and lots of cabinets.  Open floor plan.  I would love for this house to be in the Carribean.

I am currently living in my "dream house"!!!   It is a modest place with a modest amount of land that is PAID IN FULL!!
