Smoker or Non Smoker

I used to be a smoker. I have asthma, but that didn't stop me back then since it was exercise-induced. I quit when I was pregnant and I decided to stop smoking so I would be healthier for my family.

I am happy to say that it is just over a month and I am smoke free. My fiance smokes and I thought it would bother me but honestly I don't care. I made the choice after a lot of recent mishaps that it was really just pointless to smoke so I quit. There are no pros only cons to smoking of any kind at any time of your life and I am happy I was able to realize this when I did. Good luck to anyone who is trying to quit or has quit too

I am a non smoker . I have never smoked. I do have trouble breathing when I am around smokers. At the same time I know how hard it is to quit an addiction such as smoking. I hope all smokers who want to quit are able to this year.

I was a smoker for a number of years!   When the local laws changed and you could no longer smoke indoors, I tried the electronic cigarette.  I originally tried it just so I could smoke whenever I wanted and not have to go outside when it was cold or rainy.  But, I discovered, I much preferred the e-cig to the real thing!  February 7 will be a year since I had a "real" cigarette and I have never missed them!  I still never tried to quit; I just prefer what I have now, my husband likes it better, no more "smoke" smell, and my lungs have never been clearer.

Absolutely not, it is gross and disgusting..sick...I can't stand ashtrays and can't hardly breathe when people smoke around me. My husband smokes, and it makes me sick, I often have to leave the room

Although I have family members who smoke and have tried to quit but can't, smoking really holds no attraction for me.  It's just not anything I am interested in doing.

I was a smoker for more years than I care to admit.

Starting in January 2012 I started to switch myself gradually over to an electronic cigarette.

By mid April 2012 I was for the most part totally on the electronic cigarette with the occasional real cancer stick ... about 4 a month or less

Last week I had the flu and the thought of a real cigarette never crossed my mind.

I am now exclusively using the electronic cigarette

I have never smoked, I think it is gross and I don't like the smell.
