I am also a stay at home wife.. or as I prefer to call it "Domestic Goddess" LMAO. I quit working when my eldest (who is now

was about 4. I originally worked in advertising, but the commute was too much and after I had my son we decided it was better for me to stay at home to raise him rather than someone else. I also used to work as a nanny for two other children. I did that for about 3 years not too long after he was born. Then I got pregnant with my second (he's going on 4). Been a homemaker since then. I really do like being able to be home for them. My hubby is an Operations Manager and travels over an hour each way to and from work. So this is best for my boys to always have mom around.
I am always busy doing something around here, cooking, cleaning, laundry, bills and errands. Plus, since my youngest is not in school yet I have him all day long. I try to hang out and do puzzles, color, finger paint and all that fun stuff. I also run a Paint Shop Pro group where we teach people how to make their own graphics. Luckily, I have a great staff that helps me out with that. Been running that group for about a year now. It's a lot of fun and we have an awesome group of people. If you guys are ever interested in learning how to make your own graphics and tags (like you see on peoples web pages like MySpace) Just let me know and we would be more than happy to have you join.
Been a rough couple of years for me. Was diagnosed with Breast Cancer the end of 2007. Had a lumpectomy and did chemo and radiation. I guess it was good that I was a stay at home mom at the time. Could not imagine going through all of that with work and kids. But my kids kept me grounded and I am happy to say that so far I am a survivor. Being a stay at home mom now means more to me after going through all of that. I love my boys and have so much fun, even though there are days I look at the clock and go.. Isn't it bed time yet? A mother's job is never done, LOL.
