I am not scared of thunder and lightning.  I grew up with a grandmother who would make us sit down and be as quiet as church mouses.  You couldn't even touch your head.  I had a great aunt who would leave home when it began to thunder and lightning.  I thought that was silly.  I asked her about it and she told me she has always been afraid of thunder and lightning.  I told her leaving home because of it made no sense.

I discovered that when it is thundering and lightning like that, it is great sleeping weather.  I can sleep for hours.

Glad to have spring weather where I am living at least it is only rain and not ice, rain and thunder.

I don't mind the thunder, although the dog does, the lightening is pretty but I hate the waiting through all the tornado warnings that come with spring storms.
