Spider-Man Movie Villains

A repeated idea in the Spider-Man movies, including the reboot, had the villains learning Spider-Man's secret identity. I think this is ridiculous (it would be fine if it happened once), what do you think?

Spider-Man - Norman Osborn noticed Peter Parker had the same cut on his arm as Spider-Man.
Spider-Man 2 - Spider-Man fought Dr Octopus without his mask.
Spider-Man 3 - Eddie Brock and Peter both wore the Venom symbiote. I think Sandman saw him without his mask.

Amazing Spider-Man - The Lizard found Spider-Man's camera and it had a 'Property of Peter Parker' label.


Do you think this same thing will happen in the next Spider-Man movie?

The most absurd one was the Lizard.I thought Peter was supposed to be kinda smart.

Osborn & Brock found out in the comics,so I didn't have a problem with that.Ock shouldn't have found out.


Overall,there's a general disregard for the concept of the secret identity these days.They pretty much let the leading lady find out in the second act.(MOS & TASM both did this) Kills a lot of fun from the concept that way.
