I always get sick for at least two months after getting the flu shot. Normally, it's a week or two, but I get sick for more than that. So I stopped getting it.

I will never take the flu shot!!! My Aunt just had the flu shot, and the next day got very sick for 2 weeks.
They can keep it.

Just to clarify: You can't get the flu from the flu shot. They do not use the live virus in the formulation. You can however already be sick with the flu and not know it (for up to 2 weeks), then get the flu shot and be ill at some point. This leads people to incorrectly assume the flu shot gave them the flu.

Having said that, the inhaled version of the flu vaccine does use live virus in some formulations.

I got my flu shot last month.  Our PCP sent postcards telling us which dates and time span would be best to come get our flu shots.  I went and got mine as suggested but my husband still has not gone and he probably won't!  For some reason he does not want to get one; he hasn't gotten one in several years.  I've reminded him that if he gets the flu at his age it won't be as easy to get over as it was the last time he did get the flu.

Listen folks, I have always said that the flu shot is no good for the human body...be careful when you put virus in your body.

I have  never  got the flu  shoot  nor  the flu.  I have know  people  who  got  sick  because of the shot.

I never had the flu shot and never plan to!  I have heard way more bad than good over the years!

I really dont know why the flu shot is so popular at best your reducing your odds of getting the flu from 50% to 30% or something like that and imagine if someone like terrorists or something invade the flu shot supply and put some nasty disease in there.

As I recall some flu shots are done in some non doctor office settings.

i dont want to take flu shot.
I have had flu shot when i was expecting, my Ob/Gyn made me that. But that was just the same. i got flu anyway.
People say, i got regular flu, and flu shot is for 'harder flu'. I just dont want to get flu, that is it.
So the flu shot is just like nothing for me.

If our body is weak and get virus, then the flu will come, with or without flu shot. Then why must flu shot?

I heard they have new additive free shots, ask for those folks, no extra nasty stuff is a huge plus.

I haven't had a flu shot in 10 years.  I usually make it thru the season with out getting it.  If I do..I do.  So be it.

Every time I ever got one, I always got the flu. I never had the flu before I got a flu shot or since I stopped.
The only reason I got one was because I have allergies and my doctor told me to get one. I told him how sick
I got after I got one and he said, " Just think how sick you would have gotten if you would not have gotten a flu shot."

I got mine on the 30th of Oct. Tender spot for a day or 2 but nothing major. I do get one every year.

Everyone in my family has gotten the flu shot except me!!!!!  I haven't gotten the flu shot in about 8 years or so.....Before my mother passed away and lived with us I got it every year...
