If you have stairs at home or work; you would be surprised  how going up and down stairs will not only help lose the weight, it will also tone and tighten your legs and butt!  I noticed that when I started working at a new hotel that has an elevator.  When I am the manager on duty, I have to check the stairways to make sure they are clear of trash and debris.  After 2 weeks I noticed a difference without even dieting.

I too felt this way, I thought it was time to get back in shape although I didn't know how. Personally I can't motivate myself to go to the gym its too hard. But what I did find helpful was just staying on my feet. I like to believe that I do not have time to do anything because I'm so busy so when I sit down for too long I begin to move around and do something and take a break and then go back to what I was doing while sitting down (fusioncash). Or find a hobby for me its dancing that sure helps me lose calories and I build strength by doing so

I mostly go to the gym and watch what I eat at times.  Don't follow a specific diet but it has worked for me. No sodas, junk fods or fast food restaurants

My all time favorite is walking. You can do it anywhere and it's relatively safe and easy to fit in. Park farthest away at the store and walk in. Take 10 minutes and walk around the block or up the street. It feels great too.

No Ive only used one diet all of my life and I call it the one plate diet. Mostly I can eat a bit of whatever I want but not go back for seconds. It might not be for everyone but seems to work just fine for me.

:) Walking, and sometimes on the Gazelle if the weathers bad. You have to make time. Otherwise, you are fooling yourself.  :)

always move around don't just sit for hours at a time. You can walk, run, or any other exercise you can think of. Anything is better than doing nothing. And if you are cutting down on the bad foods you eat you should be doing good!.

I'm determined to get more active.  I had surgery last month and hopefully dr. will release me tomorrow!  Then my husband and I intend to get back to walking around our neighborhood.  We have some hills so it makes it pretty intense walking at times.  He's got longer legs than me so its a challenge to keep up with him lol.  When we were walking several times a week we felt better and I was tightening up all over.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate at least 2-3 times a week.  Good luck to everyone trying to lose weight or just get fit!!

I don't belong to a gym, but I go to a dance class for exercising and I try to do some at home, but soon as it warms up I plan on walking.

For me, running outside for an hour every other day does the trick. It is outdoors, so you get the fresh air and good scenery while you are exercising, and you can go at your own pace. You don't have to go to a specific building to do it, you can do it at any time of the day, and it doesn't require other people to do it like a sport would. I also find it easier to stick to the plan if I just do it every other day rather than every day.

Yeah and to that I say why bother.  It usually lasts maybe a week for me.  I need to eat less junk and more healthy but I cannot afford healthy foods.  So, I eat what I have or what I can afford.  Ramen Noodles are cheap but full of fat.  I want to exercise but it's too cold to walk outside.  And I don't have the gumption to exercise inside. lol.

There are plenty of workout videos that are supposed to be really good. I've heard excellent things about insanity.
