Why are people so mean on Sunday's

People are just jerks most the time, I guess its because they feel superior for some reason and therefore they have some kind of right to abuse others.. mean people suck and it takes ignorant people to be really mean.

Are you also familiar with what Jesus called the Pharisees regarding TRUE worship?

So now what do we learn by that?

Obviously Jesus father temple was sacred.

And God has a personal name...just like we do.

1. some people are $%&@# jerks ex-specially those that are ignorant %$#@& that think on whats right and whats worng.
2. no one has to go to church at all because its only a place & god is everywhere not just in church so you can worship god anywhere on any day & at anytime.

You are right.  There are people who go to the building every week who will bust Hell wide open.  The Bible says not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.  There will be some that will be turned away with Jesus saying "I never knew you".  I know people who go to church for business purposes.  It's good persona to be seen at church.

And I am not condemning anyone for going or not going to church.  Like I said before I am a Christian.  I am not throwing off on Christians.  Just simply, by starting the thread, was asking a question.  It was more directed at people who work on Sundays.  Having to work every Sunday, I have just noticed that the ones who have just left church are the most hateful, demanding, and hard to wait on.

The Bible does say to assemble yourselves together.  But like I said before, there are people in church every Sunday that are going to be in Hell.  And people who never go to church that will be in Heaven.  It is about having a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Having Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.  Not going to a building.  I use to go to a church where the preacher says almost every Sunday that 90% of our county is not in church on Sunday.  He has also preached about people who he saw, for example, mowing their yard on Sunday morning.  They need to be in church.  My response is this :  YOU yourself have actually ran people out of the church.  People who disagreed with you or that you just did not want to come here.  He even told more than one person it would be best if they found somewhere else to go.  He had a posse that if he himself could not run someone off that would do things including just going up to the person and telling them to leave.  Sounds absurd but it is the truth.  It's been several years since I have been at that church.  I have visited a couple of places but that is about it.   Anyway, the point is, I do not think anyone should judge you or anyone else because they are not in church.  Even if they are not working.  You do not know other people's lives or what they have been thru.  I know a woman who had to use a walker to walk.  She always sat about half way up on the end of a pew.  The preachers wife told her if she was going to keep coming she needed to set on the back row because that walker was in the way.  The woman left and she never came back.  I did not find this out til after I quit going.   So, to the people who want to condemn others for not being in church on Sunday I would say "stand back and look in the mirror and ask yourself if YOU are the reason someone is not there".   * Not YOU personally, but the person condemning me for not being there* lol.

Anyway, I agree with you.  These days churches are so corrupt and evil and seem to have forgotten the real reason for being there.  But that is okay.  I do not answer for them and they do not answer for me.

I just don't understand how someone can leave church and go to a restaurant and eat and curse the waiter or cashier because things are moving too slowly.

I have none of them here where I live. I feel like the opposite. Glad you shared that with him and your boss stood by your side. I think being self righteous and judging people is a form of prideful heart. He hasn't learn why people go to church because we are not perfect. That's why I go to church because I am a sinner and am far far gazillion miles away from being perfect.

Well the state I used to live in had people like that so I moved to another state and the church I attend all the people there are so friendly and it makes me thankful to God that he put us in a good place.

Sometimes I think that because someone goes to church they think that that makes them better than everyone else so they can behave anyway they want. They forget that it's not church but living life every day as a good kind person that is important.

A lot of people say this.  I waited tables when I was in high school.  We had 2 thieves among us so I am not sure if people were bad tippers or if the b*tches just beat me to my tables and stole my tips.  Beside the point. lol.  But a lot of people say the exact same thing.

I remember working at Taco Bell, a long time ago, and due to unforseen circumstances the restaurant was not open on time.  At 12:15 there was a man with his family who had clearly just left church who cussed me bad because I would not open the door and let him in.  It is no wonder people do not want to go to church.  People see this and they think, heck, I act better than that so why should I go to church.
