Saddened to hear, but I'll remember him for his stand up routines, Good Morning Vietnam, Good Will Hunting, and countless others...hopefully he's at peace now

I read this post and could not belive it to be true... My heart sank and i hoped for a bit of relief knowing this could not possbily be true.. In fact i googled the news and googled some more hoping at least one thing would say fraud.. false.. made up.. Not true... I still don't want to belive it's true.. This is one actor i didn't ever want to lose.. I grew up with this actor.. He got me through some hard times.. He gave me some good times.. I almost felt as if he was a big part of my life.... Oh his legacy will live on forever and ever in his millions of adoring fans.. He will be remembered in countless movies and countless ways.. I really can't imagine him ever being replaced... Tv will not be the same without him that's for sure.. He will deffinetly be missed but will live on forever in our hearts...Long Live Robin Williams May he rest in peace!

I didn't really like him as an actor or comedian but its still horrible news, my favorite thing I saw him in was the movie Insomnia with Pacino.

Yesterday I was so shocked to hear that they thought he committed suicide. Now this afternoon, the coroner stated he died from hanging and they also found a pocket knife with what looked like blood on it laying on the floor with superficial cuts on his wrists. This is even more shocking. It's really odd how they found him, sitting in a chair with a belt around his neck?

If you look closely at his eyes, sometimes he looked very happy and carefree but some of the photos they showed yesterday, his eyes looked so sad.

He made so many people laugh, was so giving of himself, but it's funny that no one could help him or even knew how 'lonely' he really felt. I just hope he finds peace.

I remember him from Mork and Mindy first of all and he has been in a lot of good movies since then. I am sorry for his family. Just goes to show not everyone is as happy as they pretend to be. You can never really know what is eating away at someones life.

I'm old enough to remember Robin Williams playing a part in Mork & Mindy.  His humor was stunningly outrageous and he instantly caught my attention.  The only other comedian who is as spontaneously funny might be Jim Carey.

I noticed with time that his humor became more dark & twisted.  Maybe, that was because he was dealing with addiction.  He'll always have a place in my heart as one of my favorite comedians.

R.I.P. Robin.
Have a great day!

My cousin knew last night he had hanged himself.  Don't know how she knew because I still have not seen that info on an official news site.  You never know what is going on inside of a person.  No matter how happy they seem on the outside.  I have known people that you never would know there was anything wrong and they killed themselves and to the average person who knew them it was a complete shock.

And sadly, I don't think it should be.  Not for people who are close to the ones who do this.  There are signs.  I just think people are so involved with themselves that they don't take the time to really listen to others.  It is not always like that but I think sometimes it is.  I know a guy who shot himself a couple of years ago on Christmas Eve.  Was a total complete shock to the family and his friends.  But then when people started talking several said HE had told them he was depressed.

This is true.  But it doesn't seem to stop people from being mean to each other.  I remember when I was in high school a girl broke up with a guy.  He told everyone he was going to kill himself.  And the girl said "go ahead" and laughed it off.  And sadly Saturday night he done exactly what he told everyone he was going to do.  I don't blame the girl and he was not in the wrong but it's just that he told several people he was going to kill himself and no one really took him seriously or thought anything about it.

Whose humor became dark and twisted?  Robin?  Or Jim Carey?  Jim Carey has always pretty much been pretty nasty with his humor.  I had not noticed anything bad with Robin Williams but I never saw a comedy show of his.  Just shows he played in.  Most comedians these days are vulgar and nasty with their jokes. But it is because that is what sells.  That is what the majority of people want to hear.

I did hear where he done a lot of work and shows for soldiers who were over seas. I thought that was pretty cool.

I am shocked to hear about his passing. I've watched him in so many movies; RV, Patch Adams, Dead Poets Society and more. He was an amazing comedic actor and will be missed.

He will be missed. Enjoyed him so much. I feel so sad for his wife and children. Losing a loved one is so hard and then for taking your own life, must have hit them really hard.

Robin Williams died of apparent suicide.  He was sixty three years old.  This is such a tragedy.  He will be tremendously missed.
How will you remember Robin Williams?

I've loved Robin Williams from the time he was in "Mork and Mindy."  A true funny man that never let me down.  One of the greatest comedians the world has ever known.  Just a good-hearted, good-natured person.  Such a sad situation.
