No I store extra pots in the dishwasher because it doesn't work.

i use to have a range that had side storage on it. after it went out i did store pans in the oven for years but now i dont i made room for them close to the range though.

Yes, I do - a couple of flat cookie pans, which I use for so much more than cookies, and a small roasting pan. I store my frying pans in the drawer underneath.  So all are close at hand when I need them.
