my pet peeve is loud chewing

Yes! Loud chewing! But the biggest one for me is people leaving messes. Like getting crumbs all over the floor or counter and they "don't see" that they're there.  Yeah. In general, people not washing or picking up after themselves.

My pet peeve is when someone asks you something that they could easily get the answer to on their own. A common expression (esp. in computers) is RTFM (Read The Fine Manual)... It is usually said when someone asks something that had they opened their user manual would find that their question has already been addressed. It gets really aggrevating at work when a person feels the need to ask a software engineer (eg me) a question that someone a lot less technical (like our department's secretary) could easily answer for them (or that they could answer themselves had they only applied themselves).

1. I hate when people (family members) leave cups and glasses outside. I have to rinse them off with the water hose to get the ants out before bringing them in. (Then I bleach them) Yuck!

2. I hate when I'm sharing a washer with other people who (sometimes) don't check their pants pockets. Therefore all of the clean clothes now have white fuzz on them because of the tissue they forgot to take out.

3. I hate when my cat throws up (hairballs) and my sister guilt's me into being the only one who cleans it up because, "You are the one who wanted the cat".

It freaks me to the core when people scrape their utensils against their teeth. I don't understand why it bothers me so badly but I will yell at people for doing it around me.

I've been rear-ended several times so I'm ultra-cautious to the point of mania.

My pet peeve is while out driving some jerk pulls out in front of you just to make a turn the length of their car.

I hate when dishes are left in the sink and we have a dishwasher.  Also when they don't turn off the lights when they leave a room.

I hate it when people drive in the left hand lane on a highway when they are not passing people.

I have a tough time when people say they'll do something but they don't follow through.  Actions always speak louder than words and it's difficult to trust people if they let you down.
