I've had a variety of things: turtle soup, rattlesnake, alligator, chicken feet, jellyfish. Peanut butter chicken sounds great, very similar to Thai cuisine.

When we were on a cruise we stopped at an island and had a turtle burger.  I also ate frog legs.  If you could get past the idea, they weren't too bad.

Your recipe sounds absolutely delicious! I have bookmarked it until I have the time to make it. I have a similar recipe. The sauce calls for 1/4 cup peanut butter, 3 TBSP soy sauce, 3 TBSP water, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp pureed garlic and a little vegetable oil (2 TBSP). Just heat all the ingredients to simmering. It turns out a wonderfully flavorsome sauce with an asian flair. I use it as a dip for chicken strips and chicken/sauteed veggie wraps.

I believe it was rattlesnake.   Was surprised how much I enjoyed it, not sure why I was surprised.

I gotta tell you I made your dish last night and it was a real hit! My husband took two dinners to work - one for lunch, and another for.... lunch! Then he came home from his night shift and ate a third portion! I had hoped and planned that there would be enough for him to take to work today, but he ate it all! What I am amazed at is how versatile these Campbells soups are. I have to admit the two cans of chicken soup have been in my pantry for just over two years and were well passed their best buy date, and I kept wondering, what am I going to do with those soups. So grateful for your entry! Thank you.

While I was reading some of the other posts, I remembered that my dad had taken me to an American Legion one night when they were serving all sorts of different exotic game, like rattlesnake, alligator, bear, moose, squirrel, etc. I actually enjoyed the bear the best that night; more tender and flavorful than some of the others (and some of the small game, like the squirrel, tasted very gamey).

Conch fritters and conch chowder which for me is strange believe me.  I am not one to be adventurous with food - especially meat.  But when I was younger I worked at a restaurant that served all things conch and I really liked it.

I tried alligator nuggets and they are so so good! They taste like chicken and are a little more dense like pork feel. I only wish I knew where I could find the meat to make my own. I've only had them at festivals

Here's another fun one my husband's family introduced me to: ranch burgers that don't contain ranch.

Sounds bizarre already, right? Here's how they're made: brown some beef, drain the grease, and add taco seasoning. Once most of the liquid has simmered down, add Cheez Whiz and mix thoroughly. There really isn't a measurement to go by, so you just have to add, mix, and taste until it tastes like ranch. Then slap it on a burger bun like you would a Sloppy Joe and eat it. I don't know how it works, I just know that it does lol

One thing I eat regularly that almost nobody I tell about will even try, is Menudo. It's a Mexican stew made with beef tripe (stomach), pigs feet, hominy, chili and other spices boiled for a LONG time. It's served with hot corn tortillas, chopped onion, oregano and lime (or lemon) juice on top. I especially like it if I have an upset stomach or just recovering from a cold or flu (Mexicans eat it after a hangover), but it's good anytime for me.
