I look at a calendar often... although I'm not sure if it's the national calendar website.  I often just do a bing search and go to what ever comes up and seems to be the most interesting at the time.

It is so funny because they have all type of 'days". Pumpkin day, Banana juice day and sometimes it just makes you wonder, Is pumpkin gonna celebrate the holiday?..lol

No.
But at one point not to long ago I did sign up to get a daily national calendar send to my phone email... it was fun at first, then I just got behind reading them.  They are a lot of fun & interesting.
