does anyone remember getting records 45's on cereal boxes. I sure do in 68-69 I was 13 or so and got Jackson 5 the archies and donny Osmond yeah Donny Osmond. The cereal was alpha bits I think. Seen at the store and begged my mom to buy it .

Searching in some of the deeper corners of my memory banks, yes, I do recall Alpha Bits records.  And, yes, I do believe the Jackson 5 were among the collections.

Things really have gone downhill. I never got records but I remember getting silly but durable toys in cereal boxes and Happy Meals. Today they just stink and fall apart.

There used to be some good stuff in cereal, Me & my siblings would have to rotate the prize & take turns who got it.

The cereal I get doesn't have any prizes in them... is that discontinued?

Yes, I remember Alpha Bits 45s! I also remember going into Sears and buying from their 45 rack! 45s were the name of the game, at least for girls my age, at the time! Donny Osmond, the Jackson 5, the Monkees, Bobby Sherman, the Partridge Family, oh my! I tell my kids about 45 records and 33 albums, and they kind of look at me like I'm from outer space, LOL!

I don’t think I ever got any. Those might’ve been phased out by the time I had been born (in 1984).

These were way before my time. Frankly, I didn't even know it was a thing. I thought toys in cereal had always been cheap plastic things. I guess that shows my age.
