R.I.P.  I heard that he had a lot of problems with depression and it is suspected suicide.  So sad for such a young man.  I have enjoyed his work for years.

I saw this yesterday.  Always loved him in the Austin Powers movies.  Such a sad loss.

yes thats sad, I once watched a show where he was on it, cant remember the name but it was a reality show, he was inside the house, but so drunk he was peeing in the corner :(

Id imagine he had alot of health issues and was most likely hurting all the time, physically and mentally :(

Saddened to learn of the death of Verne Troyer. Ironically, I was watching Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me about an hour before I learned of his passing. My prayers and condolences to his family, friends, and fans.

Hello! :D :)

I was so sad to learn of his passing. Depression is a more serious disease then others may think it is. I hope his family is doing ok. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

proof that fame and money does not make happiness... how many actors have committed suicide in these last years?? You would think "they can have anything they want to"... apparently not

How sad.  I have had a lot of sorrow and anxiety in my life but I hate to hear of suicide.  There are so many people who would give anything to live longer who have disease or whatever.  Just sad to hear - very talented person

Mini Me was definitely one of his greatest roles and his most famous though he had lots of great performances over the years.  It's a shame back when he and even Warwick Davis began their careers they were restricted in roles they could receive because of their dwarfism, and now it's an anything goes, which is why Peter Dinklage is in everything.  I'd like to think people like Troyer and the others paved the way for people like Dinklage to be respected for just being another good actor and receiving roles due their skill rather than restricting them because of height.  Troyer will certainly be missed by all those, such as myself, whom loved his work for years.
