My favorite way is grilled with just salt and pepper, medium well.  All the food threads this morning are making me hungry...or maybe I am hungry and that is why I am finding all the food threads!   LOL

I really just add salt and pepper and throw them on the grill. If you do not overcook them they will come out tender.

I  am not  a big red meat eater, Goes back to when I thought I would learn to be a butcher having  helped so many years at home with it. But after 6 months I didn't want it around nor eat it.  Now my hubby likes his still running (rare with blood) yuck.  So if he wants a steak which is not often  we go out for it. I will eat  a burger . chilli or  spaghetti. But even then we don't have it ofter I prefer Chicken or turkey.

:bunny:   :cat:   :dog: I season my steak with salt and garlic, if I'm at my house. If I go out to dinner some place I eat the steaks how they season them. Which seem to taste very good to me!  :bunny:   :cat:   :dog:

At around %8 a lb., we don't eat steak anymore. When we used to, it was done in a cast iron fry pan or on the grill. No seasoning except when almost done (medium rare), then a pat of butter on top.

You can't get a good steak  either anymore. They're all like shoe leather. Even Omaha the last few times we bought (none this year) were tough. They used to melt like butter. Didn't need a steak knife, only a regular knife to cut them. Can't see buying from them anymore.
