Do you eat healthier this year than you did last year? I am trying to be better, but sometimes I do slip up with the "bad version" of foods.

I have not been trying this year, but I will soon.

Yeah, I even cut back on the stuff I really really enjoy but I do eat a small amount of it if I really can't resist.

I try to eat healthily, but it gets difficult when you work or have children sometimes. At work, my manager decided to have a luncheon to show appreciation so it is hard to say no and not participate when everyone else is.

  I avoid all junk food and processed foods because of all the dangerous chemicals.
A friend told me: If you want to lose weight, "do not eat anything that is white":
Rice, sugar, bread, milk and diary products, pasta, cakes, pancakes and much more.
And she was right! I feel better, much better since I avoid all of these.
And lost more weight than with other diet plans.

I try to, but it never ends up happening.......just too much "not healthy" food around and available, and hard to resist....which is why I have gained several pounds over the past year or so....

Since having my baby in November I am actually eating less healthy. I guess it is from staying busy and I eat what is convenient and less time consuming to make. I really have to get back into  a healthy eating routine.

I have a bag of dry split peas.  I was going to make some split pea soup until I read on the back of the bag and realized there is 170 calories in 1/4 of a cup.  I thought those were suppose to be healthy.
