to bad didn't hear this one but haven't watched the news much today. you never know these days when it will happen maybe  online shopping is the way to go.

He did not hurt any customers.  He was after a specific person.  The manager who fired him.  He should have been in jail for pulling a knife on a customer.  So now we need to ban knives as well.

Online shopping might be good but you still have to go out in public so Idk.  You cannot bar yourself in your home and never go outside.  Although sometimes I feel that is a good way to go.

Funny that this seems to happening in this country more and more.  You have to ask yourself why this is! Are we just a more violent culture?  Why it that?  Should we monitor guns more closely as there seems to be too many that can't handle the responsibility? Are we unable to handle anger because of our self-entitlement?  It raises my questions.  It's too bad we don't have answers but we need to find some.

Millions killed in past generation world wars and countless others killed in other wars.

Worldwide murders in 2012 500,000.Increase in crime and love of greater # cooled off.

Not gonna write a book....so much more.

Why do many ask why and when they are told the truth its like they are in a trance?

When Jesus said to know the truth it sets you free from wondering why and what side of fence you wanna be on

When Jesus was asked the most important commandments he said the first 2.

1.To love and obey the TRUE God <Jehovah>
2.To love neighbor

All other commands are based on those 2.God has rules. Most of us know them.Gods kingdom or governement will enforce those rulz.We have freedom of choice. To choose life it is in our best interest to submit to our Creator.....but we arent forced to......but the Gods kingdom will NOT be what this world is now.The wicked one will be no more.It will be a righteous government. If you are happy to live your 80 or 90 yrs and do your OWN thing that is your decision....no one is forced to obey but enjoy your attitude let us eat drink and be merry cos tomorrow we die.

Jesus ransom death bought back the prospect of living forever. But Gods conditions must be met. They are told in his word what we must do.

Obviously if you love God you wont be a thief or a murderer to your fellow man as 1 example.Satans lie to Eve to be independent of God and she wouldnt die was a big fat lie.His time is short and he knows it thats why this world is insane now.Gods word teaches us how to win battle against him.

The gun laws need to be federal and enforced by all states so they are the same.  Many of the shooters in the last couple of years have had previous mental problems but because of some states checking and some not, some have waiting periods and some not people can go across a state line and pick up a weapon same day.  There was a ban on assault weapons that McConnel let expire, would not bring up for a vote a couple years ago so more of these shootings are with those weapons.  My family has been in the military, law enforcement and are members of the NRA but we do Not condone civilians having assault weapons.  They are made and used for one thing to kill as many people as quickly as you can.  99.9% of people who own guns do not have kids who take them to shoot up schools or shops or festivals.   Trump signed a bill a short time ago allowing people with mental history problems to own guns.  Most (not all) of the shootings in the last couple of years have been by people spouting off the white supremacy stuff who are born and raised here.  Whether you like it or not the current president  has made this kind of thinking and actions acceptable with His own actions and words.  He did not want to help Puerto Rico because of his bankruptcies there and them making his company make good on their promises, he says the things about Baltimore because his family has been land owners who have had to clean up their properties and they are still in trouble there for not taking care of their properties (They have even spent jail time over it).  He has door men who have said they were told not to let people of color in to say that the units are already rented/leased.  I have a friend who is of Spanish heritage and her family had one of the original land grants in California be told to go back to her own country...she had been here for only about 10 generations...more than many of the people in this country.   We have got to stop with saying any stupid or ugly thing to people just because they do not look and act just like we do.   One of our rights in this country is to be able to say and do (MOSTLY) what we want, but then you better also be able to take the consequences of those actions.

Most of the people who carry out a shooting are not legal gun owners so saying we need stricter gun laws is irrelevant.  If they are not obeying the law to start with what makes you think they will obey it if stricter gun laws are put in to place.

The moral of the story is to "stay out of Wal-Mart parking lots".

When I got my conceal carry license, that's exactly what our instructors/police said. If you went to Wal-Mart, you were supposed to be prepared for some sort of nefarious activity.  :confused1:

Really? Because you can only be shot at Walmart?  The guy shot the manager INSIDE the store.

Your instructor is an idiot.  Bad things happen every where.  Not just at Walmart.

People seem to get all these ideas of killing people from the news.  They report in too much detail of what happend and they give the next ideas to go out and kill for revenge or whatever reason they may have.

And when within 30 minutes of carrying out these acts you have instant world wide fame it just encourages the next person to do it again.  And now, there is no punishment.  They just say "mental illness" and they get a slap on the wrist and they go on with their lives.

It is not just the news.  I agree that making the details so public and making the person famous it encourages the next one.  But look at the video games where the goal is to kill as many people as you can.  They sit and play these games all day every day.  Look at the movies and tv shows people watch.  That is all it is.  Kill kill kill.

As for revenge usually the person(s) shot have nothing to do with the thing the person is mad about.  And it is pretty sad when your revenge is to end a life because you got fired for pulling a knife on a customer because you are an idiot who doesn't want to be at work to start with.  This country is in some real trouble.  And no taking the only means of defense from the good people is not the answer.
