I've never enjoyed taking baths and only take showers. I've always had the problem of hot water on my stomach making me nauseous. I'm glad that you enjoy baths, though. It does look kind of nice when I see a bubble bath with candles all around the tub on TV, but I'm pretty sure most people don't go to all that effort in order to take a luxurious bath!  :)

I would  much rather  take a great shower. And then when I get out I feel clean from top to  bottom. I wash my hair first then the rest is so relaxing for  me. I don't like sitting in a bathtub soaking I feel I there are better things to be done. And I just don't feel like I got as clean. Besides  I remember when  we had to take  our baths in a  big wash tub. first my little sister, then me and then my brother who was always the direst.  I hated it and was so thankful when we  moved to town and had  running water and a shower.  Oh  this was back in the 40's and early 50's . We lived on a ranch  many miles from town and  only had a windmill for water.

Yeah but we aren't talking about sharing bath water.  Which I think it utterly disgusting.  Surely people did not really do that! lol  Well never mind a few years ago I heard about (and yes it is true) a family where the dad took a bath first, then the mom, then the oldest child, then the two younger ones together.

Taking a nice hot bubble bath with clean water can be relaxing.  If you feel you are dirty (which I don't know how you could) you can always stand up and turn the shower on for a few.  I use to have a friend who done that. lol
And she was not "dirty" when she got in the bath to start with. lol

No, I don't enjoy taking baths, & I too have a large soaking tub in my master bedroom that nobody uses... wasted.

I just shower, baths take up too much time & I rather use the water allotment on my grass.

I have a soaking tub in my bathroom at my house and have used it in the past several times, but the last time I got in I fell when I got out and haven't used it since.  I had bad knees and when I tried to get up I lost my balance.

Maybe you need to get a new bath, that will keep the water warm for a longer time....

I have a tub as well but I do not fill it up, I just wash up and get out.

I do not like tub baths and yes we had to share bath water when I was growing up in the 40's but now I really enjoy my early morning shower
