I found out a few years ago that I am allergic to rice. My allergy Dr asked me if I ate a lot of Chinese food and I said I enjoyed eating it from time to time. I love rice especially Jasmine rice and I'm disappointed that I'm allergic. I eat it still sometimes and itch. But I try to stay away from it as well. If I eat it , it's just a moderate amount.
In grocery stores in Rice section - cauliflower, broccolli & sweet potato that is riced! You should tried it!

Thankyou! I will try it!

You can get riced cauliflower in the freezer section.  Never seen any of this other stuff riced. I may look for that. The cauliflower I have ate before but it does not taste like rice. We made pizza crust out of it.

This is a first; I've never heard anyone being allergic to rice.  I would first suspect any seasonings used before concluding that it's the rice causing allergic reactions.

If I ever found out that I were allergic to rice, I would have to do something drastic like change my chemical composition.   LOL  Just kidding.

I was surprised to hear that someone can be allergic to rice. I hope that it is just the msg.  I grew up in the south so rice was a main stay in our family but I also found out as I got older that it is not the best thing to have if you are trying to avoid diabetes.  BUMMER!!

OMG! You poor soul what a thing to be allergic too! Maybe you should do some research & see if you can find a different type of rice that you may not be allergic too.
