does anyone believe this end of the world 2012 stuff?

I haven't heard about any meteor coming close enough to hit on 12/21/2012 but I have heard about the Asteroid that will come scarily close on 4/13/2029 that could it could be brought in by earth's gravity and hit and if not could pass through a gravitational key hole and come back and hit 4/13/2036

I will research this 2012 meteor cuz I have never heard of it.

In 2029 I will be 47
In 2036 I will be 54
In 2012 I will be 31....So I won't mind the 2036 doomsday but right now I have lots more living to do.

I won't worry about it until it happens because there are tons of other things that could kill me. I was watching the Science Channel and there is this Mountain thing and if a part of it breaks off and hits the ocean then it will send like a 100 foot wave wall and come crash into the Eastern USA and flood all the Eastern Coastal States.
Oh, and if Yellow Stone Park Volcano erupts....

The world as we know it will come to an end, however, it is all revealed  to us in the Bible. I know you're probably saying ....yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before.
But ask yourself, what if it is true. The truth of the matter is that we are all going to die one day--many of us before the coming of Jesus Christ. The other truth is that we will all live eternally --but where is up to us. It can  either be in heaven (in the presence of Jesus ) or tormented in hell by satan and his demons. The state of one's soul is more important than the end of the world.

Marieelisa you will mind if the world ends when you are 54.  I'm 66 and having more fun than when I was younger.  I have a family that loves me, a super boyfriend, live in a great small town.  No - the world won't end in 2012 - they say that every few years.  Usually it's some fake religion trying to scare people into giving them their money.

What if a giant cotton candy monster is going to cover the whole world in sugary, pink cotton candy until we all suffocate?  Anyone who starts practicing eating tons and tons of cotton candy now will have the skills to eat a hole through the cotton candy so they don't suffocate.  Everyone, start buying cotton candy or face the wrath of the end times!!!

I'm always amazed that, in the 21st century, people are still scared of Satan and really think the issue of death is as black and white as "you live in eternal paradise or an eternal lake of fire."  Open your brain a tad, we're no longer in the Dark Ages (well, some of us aren't).  It's mythical nonsense used to give non-thinking people reason to not run around and slaughter people they disliked.
