Having problems posting

A lot of times, I'm having a problem where the forum software thinks I'm making a post that contains an off-site or referral link when I'm not.  Nowhere in my post do I even have any sort of link at all!  I'm guessing its a simple regex problem.  Anyone had an issue like this?

Its not punctuation because I tried stripping out all the punctuation and it still failed.

I thought it was just me, but I guess everyone is having the same problem. Apparently there's a glitch in the system. I hope they get it fixed soon, so I can get 30 posts this month.

Good call - it was indeed a funny regex problem.  The forum software gets periodic updates from Wikipedia's URL block list (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_talk:Spam-blacklist/log) and a recent update seems to have some malformed regex.  I've disabled the Wikipedia block list, so we'll get by based on our own internal block list for now.

Short version: it's fixed, sorry about that
